At Tampa Endodontics we work hand in hand with you to maximize your insurance reimbursement for covered procedures. The cost of care should not be burdensome to the patient, therefore to aid us in accomplishing this task, our office participates in over a dozen Aetna, BlueCross/BlueShield Delta Dental, Cigna, MetLife, Guardian, United Concordia, and others. See list below.
Before your appointment, our insurance coordinator will help obtain your benefit details and confirm your coverage and eligibility for endodontic treatment. As a courtesy, we file the insurance claim for you and help maximize your reimbursement. Typically, insurance will cover a percentage of endodontic procedures (often 50-80% depending on your plan), after any deductible. We’ll give you an estimate of your copay or portion before proceeding. Please remember that it’s only an estimate; final coverage is determined by your insurer. If there’s any discrepancy, we’ll work with you. Our team is very experienced in handling insurance questions, so don’t hesitate to ask us if anything is unclear.
